Our Process at AMW

A Clear Path From Damage Assessment to Repair

The AMW restoration process is designed to help property owners move from uncertainty to a clear repair plan. We begin by learning what happened, reviewing the affected areas, and identifying the services needed. From there, we coordinate the work, document the project, and keep communication clear through completion.

Initial Consultation and Assessment

The first step in our process is to understand your needs. Whether you’re a homeowner, business owner, or property manager, we’ll take the time to listen to your concerns and assess your specific situation. If you're dealing with property damage, we’ll schedule a rapid on-site visit to evaluate the extent of the damage and provide a thorough inspection. For general contracting projects, we discuss your vision, goals, and budget to make sure we are aligned from the start.

Detailed Estimate and Planning

Once we have a clear understanding of the scope of work, we provide a detailed estimate outlining the costs, materials, and time frame for the project. Transparency is key, so you’ll know
exactly what to expect from day one. If your project involves insurance restoration, we’ll assist in filing your claim and ensure that the necessary documentation is provided to adjusters. For general contracting services, we work with you to develop a timeline and plan that minimizes
disruption to your home or business.

Project Execution

Our team of skilled professionals gets to work on your project with precision and care. We believe in clear communication, so we keep you updated on the progress at each stage. From emergency tarp and board-up services to mold remediation or major construction, we’re committed to staying on schedule and keeping disruptions to a minimum. You’ll always know what’s happening, and we’ll be ready to address any questions or concerns.

Quality Control and Final Walkthrough

Once the work is completed, we conduct a thorough quality check to ensure everything meets our high standards. Whether it’s a small repair or a large-scale restoration, we pride ourselves
on attention to detail. We also conduct a final walkthrough with you, making sure you’re 100%
satisfied with the outcome. If there’s anything you’d like adjusted, we’re happy to make those changes.

AMW General Contracting is built for property owners who need practical guidance, dependable scheduling, and construction-quality repairs after damage. Whether the project starts with an emergency call or a planned improvement, our goal is to make the next step clear.

FIVE STARS! We had a pike leak in our kitchen pantry and needed repairs. A friend highly recommended Andre Wolford and his AMW Team. We obtained quotes from three firms, and when Andre and Tim showed up, we immediately felt comfortable and confident that they would do a good job. They did a SPLENDID job! They kept us apprised through the process....showed up on time...were concientuous as my wife works at home some days...and even got along with our doggie Gidget. In the end, our kitchen pantry and kitchen area looks great and is even better than before. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND AMW GENERAL CONTRACTING!

On behalf of me and my grandmother there couldn't be more great things we could say about Andre and his team. He is a man of his word, trustworthy and a great communicator. His team has exceeded all expectations. When my grandmothers house burnt down from a fire we were recommended to Andre. Throughout the entire process he was excellent. He was sensitive to the loss of many items and helped navigate and keep our mind at peace through a highly emotional process for my grandma. We ended up contacting him again a few years later because we noticed some flooring that needed to be looked at. Not only did he respond right away but he got his team team out there and fixed it ASAP with no cost to my grandma. We couldn't recommend Andre and his team more!

We called AMW General Contracting after our home flooded several inches deep. Andre and his team of professionals were quick to respond, courteous, and kept us informed every step of the way through the remediation process. I cannot say enough great things about this company and the quality of their work. We would absolutely use them again for other projects.

I cannot say enough about Andre and his workers. Last year, we had a major upstairs bathroom flood that leaked into our downstairs as well. The repair work them completed in 2022 included walls, floors, ceilings, bathroom remodels, and carpeting most of the house. Andre's workers did a great job, as our house now looks better than what it was before the flood. On top of the great work, Andre is a man of his word! When we completed the work last year, I asked him if he could have his workers come back to install three mirrors when we decided the ones we wanted. Due to our busyness, we did decide on the mirrors until eight months later. Even though we took so long to get the mirrors and contact Andre, he happily sent one of his awesome workers to install the mirrors. This is the kind of customer service that is lacking these days. If you have the misfortune to need a renovation due to some type of damage, you should not hesitate to contact Andre at AMW General Contracting! He and his workers are the best!

Water damage required that we demo and rebuild almost 40% of our home. This included demo and replacement of flooring, drywall, paint, wallpaper, cabinets, plumbing and countertops. Andre was referred to us by a friend and from the very beginning he was responsive, knowledgeable, honest and prompt. He has a great team and set of sub-contractors. We agreed on a scope and timeline and even with a tile delay (my fault, not his) he was able to make up the time and still complete the project in a very reasonable amount of time. The end product is top quality. Andre is a trustworthy person and is great to work with. We would absolutely use AMW contracting again in the future.

Daniel Medina and team did great quality work. They were referred to us by our insurance company when we found a pin hole leak on our attic on our plumbing lines. They did the kitchen cabinets fully, did the painting , fixed the dry walls. Love thir work and will highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for high quality work done on their home.

Andre and his crew are AWESOME! It’s hard to believe that we would still feel great about our contractors after an 8 month or so remodel job, but that’s what a great experience we had with AMW. AMW remodeled our 1980’s house from top to bottom — helping us through the entire process with solid communication and great attention to detail. Andre is a terrific project manager — always able to be reached and address any issues in a timely manner. His staff are professional and helpful, going above and beyond their job duties to assist with whatever is needed. Highly recommend AMW for all of your home remodel and restoration needs. I didn’t post any before photos here, but trust me, it was a complete transformation. We love our new (updated) home!
